Dr. Markeyta L. Sconiers holds a Doctorate in Higher & Post-Secondary Education, a MA in Forensic Psychology, and a BA in Psychology from Argosy University. She also received a Certificate in Vocal Training from Dorolyn Academy and completed work in Non-Profit Management at the University of Chicago. Markeyta's vocational career focused on education, community engagement, non-profit management, mental wellness, and ministry.
Markeyta started singing at 8 years old and has since traveled the world sharing her musical gift. Recording professionally, touring, and performing on countless stages, Markeyta realized it was time to put her expertise to work. With over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Markeyta started The MarLatSco Group LLC to become a trusted name in live music and event entertainment and production. The MarLatSco team has experience working with a wide range of clients, from families to small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, providing unforgettable entertainment for their events.
